As a long time resident of Whitchurch-Stouffville, I believe that Stouffville is one of the most desirable communities in the Greater Toronto Area to "put down roots".  My family, the Doner's, settled our family homestead in the hamlet of Gormley, which is on the west end of Whitchurch-Stouffville in 1806.  This property is still owned and farmed by by father and three brothers, who are the eigth generation on that land.   I grew up here, went to school in Stouffville, and now I am proud to live and work in Stouffville.  If you're looking for a place to raise your family, that is close to the city, but still feels like a small town, look no further, Stouffville is a place you can call home.
